Halfway House

Right Turn provides a halfway house for persons who have successfully completed residential treatment and require additional support to make the transition into stable recovery.

Residents referred to the Halfway House live in an affordable environment on campus, and work at jobs around the area.  All residents are required to participate in Right Turn of Maryland’s Continuing Care Program.  Residents are assigned a certified Addiction Counselor who will continue to work with them to achieve treatment goals, provide support, and guidance on the road to recovery.  Regular drug and alcohol testing ensures continued drug-free status.

Special Note:

Halfway House Program provides a more structured, supportive environment for early recovery, reducing the risk of relapse and recidivism.

Halfway House Program counselors assist clients in obtaining productive employment and monitor progress in the workplace.

Right Turn works closely with the Courts, parole and probation offices throughout the region to help residents in documenting their progress in treatment and in complying with Court requirements.
